This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
"Whatever it takes" is our school motto and what we stand behind. We need to do whatever it takes to get these students involved in our school community. Our after school theatre program is about to take off and just needs your help to supply my students with what they need!
Energetic, exciting, and so much fun are just the first words that come to mind when I think of my talented high school students.
Our school is a new, small school with hopes of making history in our low economic area. We want to give our students a superior educational experience. We support a holistic approach to educating our children. Our school foundation rests on Seven Core Virtues that will prepare our students for citizenship: Respect, Integrity, Honor, Excellence, Commitment, Perseverance, and Service.
My Project
These art supplies will help my students with our after school set design program. I want them to be able to build and paint sets that look like they could be on Broadway. I want these students to come together after school every Tuesday from 3:45-5:45 and have a place to look forward to going and hanging out.
By donating to this project, my students will have the incredible opportunity to create theatre, something which I believe will impact them forever.
They are more outgoing, personable, and full of life by participating in our after school theatre program. This project will help make that happen.
