This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.
My Students
Help us to learn more effectively! Our classroom is in need of hands-on tools in the subject area of science.
My students are young people who want to learn, and they learn best using their hands.
They have come from inner city schools and now attend an academy (school of choice) in Michigan. In hopes of a more promising future, their parents have charged me with educating them to the best of my abilities.
My Project
One of the least focused subjects in school today is science. Students are greatly in need of basic/solid foundations. While science is playing a crucial role in today’s news, the next generation is not being prepared to take over.
As an educator, I would like to provide my students with as many resources as possible to foster great learning. Some of the concepts that the resources will scaffold will include; force and motion, matter, solar system, human body, electricity, earth properties, and simple machines.
Help create the next generation of scientists!
Hands-on application is one of the crucial elements to learning. Please help foster this current generation in providing well needed tools that will create important critical skills to achieve.
