My students need construction paper, dough stampers, and CD read-along book sets.
FULLY FUNDED! Mrs. Coward's classroom raised $563
This project is fully funded
I teach 5 year-old kindergarten in rural South Carolina. We are a Title One school with 93% of kindergarten students receiving free/reduced lunch. Our school was featured on SC ETV's "Corridor of Shame." All of our funds for this school year have been frozen.
My students are involved in several Learning Service projects throughout the year. We focus on sending cards to active and retired military personnel. We send cards to the Veterans Hospital several times during the school year. We want to send Valentines and springtime cards to Afghanistan this year. We need the construction paper to be able to complete these projects.
I was fortunate to have a recent DonorsChoose project fulfilled for basic supplies. I completely forgot to request construction paper. Kindergarten students use it daily and we are running low.
I am also requesting some dough stampers and stands. The other items requested are books with cds for our listening station. It is one of the most popular centers in our classroom.
The construction paper will be enough to last us for the rest of this year and the beginning of next year. The other items requested will used by students for years to come.
Your support will ensure that my students have needed opportunities for arts and crafts.
