I am a librarian at a unique high school that is also a college. In four years our diverse and motivated students earn an Associate’s Degree and their high school diploma. BHSEC students take two years of rigorous academic college courses. This means the library requires a copy of seminar texts on reserve for students
The library operates within very limited means given that we are a college operating with the budget of a small high school. Our school represents a population of students that try to get the most out of education. These authors include Karl Marx, Charles Darwin, E.M Forrester, W.E.B Dubois, and Virginia Woolf. We are asking for donations to purchase these books because our school has a rigorous two-year seminar series that require students to think and write critically about concepts that have revolutionized the world in the last 150 years.
The library operates within very limited means given that we are a college operating with the budget of a small high school. Our solution is a donation would help us keep a copy of these seminar texts on reserve for our students.
We would appreciate any help with obtaining these supplies for this extraordinary high school.
