"A newly established middle school needs printmaking supplies. I teach art to Pre-K through 8th grade. The 8th grade is the newest addition to our expanding school. With 8th grade being new, I want my students to experience art in a new way that prepares and encourages them for high school. After showing my students my own personal linoleum plates from college, they all expressed an enthusiasm that I found hard to resist. They instantly became engaged and their curiosity was difficult to disguise. My students and I need cutting tools and linoleum in order to complete the printmaking unit in a way that is tailored to their interests. I think that by providing them with an experience like cutting linoleum and then printing from their plates, they will have a new way of looking at art that will go well beyond drawing. Your support will provide my 8th grade students with a new opportunity that could open new doors and a new understanding for the world of art.
My students need cutting tools and linoleum supplies for an upcoming printmaking unit.

Dear Sharon, James Wheeler, Sandra, Edd & Cindy, aunt phyllis, Sara, Anita, Virginia, Rhondalyn, HP and Anonymous Donor,
I am extremely excited to have received the funding you provided for my project. I can't wait to inform my students of the upcoming assignments using the linoleum printmaking supplies. They will be thrilled! These supplies will help my students experience art in a way they never have and may never again. They may even walk away from this project with a new appreciation and a new interest in art that will travel with them through life. I know my excitement will be contagious. Thank you for your support of education and the arts. With gratitude, Mrs. T.

"I gave to this project because I believe education is a first class ticket to freedom, culture and the world. Without knowledge of math, science, literature a person is held back. Ultimately, it is what you make with your education, but every child deserves a fair chance at seeing this big beautiful world for what it is, a wonderful place to explore, grow and love. Good luck guys!"
