This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

I am a coach for our school's rugby team. We are a charter high school in a high-need community.

It is often very difficult for my students to obtain proper safety equipment to participate in rugby. Often, students parents are busy with several jobs that do not allow them to simply "just go to the store" anytime they need something. Additionally, several students cannot afford any equipment.

Mouth guards are very vital to rugby. They are needed to insure students do not get hurt or injure others. These are easily lost, so when they are lost - some parents are reluctant to go all the way to the store to replace them.

With your generous support, no students will be turned away from games because they lack the needed equipment.
