My students need body parts! I teach 6th grade science in Arkansas. We are bridging the gap between theme schools and junior high.

Students have trouble visualizing what the body looks like. They need to be able to see what makes up their bodies. We do not have the supplies for the students to see accurate depictions of the body. All we can do is look at pictures. For students to learn best, they need to see, hold, and feel the organs.

For students to understand how the lungs work, they need to be able to actually see the different parts. With lung models, students can see the different parts of the lung and see how a lung operates. They know about breaking bones, but with a skeleton model, students can see how they are all connected together. The models will help students to understand the different, minute, parts of organs.
