Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

The High School located in NY is a high poverty high needs school. We find ourselves at a crossroad where students voted to have more intense classes but with budget cuts cannot.

Last year students voted to have AP US History in our school. The course was approved and this year as the year begins we find ourselves with budget cuts and very few resources. Students are about to start a college level course without the necessary resources they need. If they pass the exam they will be able to earn college level credits in high school.

With the Kaplan Review book students will have a resource they need to prepare for the exam as well as to use as a resource in class. Your help can make the difference.

Only you can make the difference and help my students get the resources that they need. The budget cuts have been devastating and have fundamentally changed the direction of the course. Your help can make the difference for our students. And allow them to get the necessary skills they need to pass an Advanced Placement exam that will earn them college credits.
