Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

Childhood Obesity will not affect our students! Our students are on the prowl. We will dribble and kick childhood obesity to the curve.

Our school is like many others right now in Michigan...lacking funds! Unfortunately physical education is not on top of the list to get funds. Therefore, it is up to wonderful people like yourselves to contribute to bring the needs of my physical education class to a reality.

With your help, our students can receive 6 indoor soccer balls, because we have no outdoor area, we must play inside. Also we need foam Frisbees for indoor activities. Also, unfortunately our basketballs got stolen over the summer and I need help to replace them.

Physical education is just as important as any other subject students learn while in school. Physical education teaches not only healthy living activities but pride in accomplishment, team work, fair play, and many more important aspects of life. This is your chance to give inner city students an opportunity to achieve a healthy lifestyle.
