I teach some amazing students. These students have one thing in common. They are all afflicted with multiple disabilities, but I see them as my heroes. They deal with situations on a daily basis that I couldn't even begin to imagine and handle it with grace. They simply love to be at school and learn. Our school is SO supportive, but in a poverty stricken area in Ohio. We really need your help.

My students with multiple disabilities LOVE to read. I read aloud to them daily but they are desperate to do this independently. We don't have the cd players needed for the students to listen and read the books. I have another student who is legally blind (combined with other disabilities) and just loves to listen to books. Your support of this project would be a priceless gift to these students. Please help these kids to the freedom of listening to wonderful books. You would be giving them such a tremendous gift.

These resources will enable my students to process the books that they are reading by listening to them at the same time. My students need to use all of their learning modalities to comprehend a story and other information. This would be a wonderful and amazing that you could do for these students by supporting this project.
