NO! Don't throw that away! Let me show you how to RECYCLE! We are a rural school district in Ohio, where recycling is not considered important-Our teachers feel otherwise! We have launched a school-wide recycling program along with our administrators, community members, community organizations, and our local waste treatment and recycling center. Now that we have that we have our program in place, we would like to educate our elementary school students (Grades Kindergarten - Fourth) how to recycle, the benefits of recycling, and why to recycle.

Allow us the tools to provide our elementary students with the power to recycle! The teachers at our Elementary School have organized a school-wide recycling program to better our environment and community. The teachers have no supplies/materials to assist in the education of recycling.

The resources we have chosen to educate our elementary students concerning recycling include a paperback library with 12 books concerning the environment; an Earth and Environment theme box to teach younger students to explore the natural world and learn how to protect it; and an activity kit to give students read life experience to reduce, reuse, and recycle.
