It All Starts With Reading!!

My students need a library in their classroom. The school, nor the school system provides independent reading books for the students.

I am a 7th English teacher in Washington DC. My students are in a high need community with 99% on free and reduced meal plans.

I am trying to get them interested in reading, but they don't have a proper library to look at, and read books.

I would like to begin showing them that reading is fun. I need a library in my classroom for them to be able to explore books on their own.

Your help will inspire these students. Along with your help WE will bring resources for them to explore reading, and continue on with their education with excitement.
