I teach ELA in a Title 1 school in Augusta, GA. Our students come from many different situations, but are humble and great students. I am new to the school this year and also teaching 4th grade. I'm slowly trying to gain items in the class for 4th grade. Most of my items for school are Kindergarten.
I am wanting to design our classroom to meet many different needs for students and allow them to enjoy where they are learning.
I will have 90 students overall. We have 3 classes that rotate during the day, so many students will benefit from the items in my classroom!
My Project
Students have many different ways of learning and need to be reached as best as possible. These students will be able to sit comfortably in our room on balance balls and also have items organized in the room on shelves. They will be able to have access to items when they are put on shelves and displayed.
Children have so much energy and we are limited on the time outside, so having the flexible seating really does help.
It allows them to get excited about learning and enjoy being in the room as well.
We have a limited amount of shelving and shelves for students to have access to.
