I teach chorus to 6th, 7th and 8th grade students. We have a very large program for a school our size (170+ in a school of around 550). We have a great administrative team that supports us as much as possible; however, funds are tight right now.

Microphones are vital to our performances. We have some, but not enough for the size chorus we have. Our amp gets borrowed by other groups who don't take care of it like we do. Our microphone stands are very old and tend to droop lower and lower during concerts.

Two more microphones would allow our students to be heard better during concerts, talent shows, etc. Four new mic stands would allow us to replace two of our current stands and have two for the new mics. A new amp would allow us to have one dedicated solely to the chorus department.

If you choose to support us, you would be allowing our students to adequately show off the hard work they put in to each concert. For many of my students, music is the one thing they excel at and it is my goal to make every performance opportunity the best it can be.
