Google Cardboard Saves the Day in World History

My students need Google Cardboard in order to get them immersed into the Geography of the place we are studying!

My Students

Our students are highly motivated yet, like other students their age, they still need to learn those important 21st century skills. These kids LOVE technology, and want to learn all about it.

We are now officially a one-to-one device school (lucky us!) and working on integrating digital technology tools into everyday use to increase personalized learning.

My students are spunky, fun and learning that they are in charge of their own learning!

We have many students, and they range from highly academically motivated to not. We strive in motivating those who are not yet motivated

My Project

Google Cardboard will be great to take students on expeditions. How great would it be to actually visit the places we are learning about? "History is boring" won't be heard in my classroom. I imagine being able to start a world history lesson about China and being able to visit China. Learning about Africa? Let's go! I hoping the Google Cardboard will help in creating a more personalized experience for not only my students but others (as I would share the goggles with the rest of my team)

Some students have not and may never get the opportunity to travel outside the country, this is a great way to expose them to the world and create 21st century citizens
