Kinderkids Dive Into the World of Eric Carle

My students need a variety of 26 books by Eric Carle for our author study.

My classroom of 24 children just love Eric Carle. He lets them imagine and explore with him. Our supply of books by Eric Carle is very limited. The books we do have are shared and well loved. If every child could just have an Eric Carle book in their hands at the same time, it would be wonderful.

Our parents are trying to give their children a quality education, however, their funds are limited. The need to expose children to quality literature is important and I can not ask my student's parents to purchase books when they are all on limited income. To be able to put an Eric Carle book in the hands of all my children would be fabulous!!! Eric Carle is just fascinating to them. They love his books and his illustrations.

I will be doing an author study and I would love to create a center where the students can "get lost" in the world of Eric Carle. Upon receiving these books, my author study would be enjoyed by my kindergarten students year after year.

Eric Carle will continue to live through the eyes of many kindergarten children for years to come in my classroom. The support with this proposal will make it happen!!!!
