Technology Is Good But...We Need Batteries For It!

My students need 35 boxes of AAA batteries.

We realize how fast technology is evolving and we want our students to have the latest technology at their disposal. I teach Math at the high school level. There are many tools in the TI-83 and TI-84 calculators that enhance the learning experience of our students.

The county provides us with a graphing calculator for each student, but due to budget cuts, the school provides less of the batteries needed to power these calculators. Parents send batteries with students at times, but it's just not enough. The batteries wind up running out, rendering our technology useless.

I am asking for a donation of AAA batteries so that we can rely less on the budget of the county and the school, while still giving our students every advantage a world where technology is growing at a rapid rate.
