"I am currently working for a low socio-economic districts where our budget is really tight this year. I am a new teacher so it is hard for me to supply some of the essential items for my classroom.

Working for a low socio-economic school district means that my students are faced with many hardships within their classrooms. For instance, one of our needs right now is to have a listening center within my classroom so my academically challenged students are able to listen to their books along with reading their books.

Right at this moment in time I am in need of a listening center to help my students with their reading skills when it comes to reading comprehension. I feel that my students will have the ability to succeed in their reading comprehension when they are able to listen and read along with the book.

Your help will ensure that my students to excel in their reading. Thank you so much for any and all support that you can give me and my students. The first activity I would do after I have obtain this certain product is to do a reading activity where my students are able to listen to a book and follow along with the book in hand. This will ensure my students to have the ability to enhance their reading skills.

My students need a listening center for my Guided Reading Lessons.

Dear Sandra, Troy, Caroline, Ashley and Brandon,
I wanted to express my deepest gratitude for your generous donation. With your donation my class was able to get the listening center that we have been great need to have within my classroom. You can only imagine the impact that has been on my students.
Having the listening center in my classroom has greatly impacted my students that are reading below grade level. By listening to a book along with reading the book, students are able to fully understand what is going on within the book and able to comprehend what they are reading.
One high note of having this listening center within my classroom, that it has greatly benefited my students that are ESL students. Their reading levels have greatly improved because of the impact of the center. I want to again give you my deepest gratitude for your generous donations to donor choose. Thank you so much for your thoughtfulness and your caring hearts to help my current students and my future students.

With gratitude,
Ms. A.

We got over 400 votes and your classroom was chosen as one they'd like to see us help. Best wishes and lots of geeky good vibes, The ThinkGeek monkeys"
