This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
I teach 8th grade math and Algebra I. I teach a variety of students. My main focus is to prepare these students for high school with the best possible resources.
We are running short on budget and supplies and we have too many students that need access to these calculators and we do not have enough. We need a little extra help.
We are asking for TI 83 calculators, because as Algebra students, they have to learn how to use these calculators to the best of their ability. Most students cannot afford such instruments, and we want to be able to have the opportunity in the classroom for them to use them. These calculators are extremely important for them understand how to use them.
You help will ensure that my students have extra confidence by knowing more about math.
