Mrs. Kelly from Brooklyn NY is requesting supplies through DonorsChoose, the most trusted classroom funding site for teachers.
I am creating a science lab for my students. The lab will consist of Aquariums for my children to have the opportunity to observe the life cycles of various animals such as fish, chameleons, and frogs.

I teach Elementary Science to Grades K-5. My students are at all levels of development; some are gifted, others Special Ed and most are in General Education. My students come from low-income households and do not have the opportunities to visit places such as aquariums, zoos and museums.
The cost of creating a science lab has been enormous. I love nature and all its amazing creatures. When my students enter my room I want to expose them to the amazing world of living things. My students become wide eyed with delight as they experience animals up close and personal. Many of my students come from poor backgrounds and do not have the opportunities we all take for granted visiting various zoos and aquariums.
In order to create a Science Lab I need Aquarium tanks, aquarium accessories such as plants, live organisms, and filters. I also need materials for the students to have hands-on experiences in Science especially life science. My classroom will give my students the opportunity to see live animals up close. It will build responsibility as well as respect for life which in turn will lead to respecting each other and the wonderful world of living things.
Your donations will make it possible for all my students as they visit the Science Lab to become lovers of animals, insects, fish, amphibians, and reptiles. I believe given the opportunity to see life and touch life, my students will respect all forms of life creating a love of everyone and everything
