Learning with Visuals, like Venn Diagram Pocket Charts!
My students need a classroom that is well prepared for anything that can happen. I have chosen a variety of things that will create an more inviting classroom as well as an effective one.
This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.
I teach 2nd grade in a large inner city school. We have a large number of non English speaking students.
I have found that most of my students are visual learners. I need to have something for them to look at to remind them of what we are learning.
Through the materials I have chosen, I hope that the students will be motivated to learn and do well. I have asked for a Venn diagram pocket chart so the students can compare and contrast stories that we are ready. I have also asked for a few word building activities that the students can manipulate the words so that they learn the new words.
Your donation will provide my students with the opportunity to learn in a way that may help them catch on a little faster. I thank you in advance for any help you can give.
