My Students

Each student will need a book to complete activities in class.

The 6th grade students work very hard to achieve goals that seem unreachable.

We strive to maintain grades that are acceptable with materials that may not seem up to par. Our school is one of the low income schools so resources are not available as they might be for other schools.

My Project

Students will be able to have their own copy of "Bud, Not Buddy" which we will be reading and doing activities with. Students will learn the TNCore standards that will be taught as well as activities. Students will complete activities with a partner or maybe on their own. Having their own book will help provide a deeper understanding and learning for each child.

Each student will have a copy of the novel in their hand.

They will be able to take this book home and reread for better comprehension. I hope that it will also get their parents involved in their learning.
