My students need hands on science activity tubs.

I teach at-risk second graders in a school with students from low socioeconomic backgrounds with a 98% free/reduced lunch rate.

Our students are not exposed to the many concepts of science and its real world applications because of the lack of adequate supplies needed to effectively teach the content.

The hands on activity tubs will provide daily exposure to science that invite children to think, discuss, create, explore, and discover science using hands-on activities.

The funding of this project will provide the tools necessary for the students to effectively use hands on science materials that link science to real-life experiences extending into the development of life-long problem solving skills.
