My Students

My classroom is bustling and full of life as students move about conducting research, exploring new ideas & concepts, and constructing meaning.

My students are passionate about their learning and are eager to show what they know.

The use of Chromebooks in the classroom is a great way to allow them to take ownership of their learning and share their passion with others. Though our school is forward-thinking, there is only one computer lab for the entire school (800+ students) and there is simply not enough devices to go around.

My Project

My students will use these Chromebooks to explore concepts, complete assignments, and conduct research. Students with Chromebooks will have instant access to the web and are able to participate in passion-based projects such as Genius Hour. . For Genius Hour, students will be researching as well as blogging or using other digital media to create videos, organize events, & learn more about something THEY are passionate about.

The funding of this project will help top increase the amount of technology that we currently have in the classroom.

By giving to this project, my students will benefit from your generosity and will have the power of the web at their fingertips.
