I am a first grade teacher in a traditional classroom. Most of my students come from low economic backgrounds. I try not to ask for extra supplies because I know most of my student's parents have 2 or more children and can't afford additional costs.

My students love measuring water and learning about liquid measurement. They need to use their own measuring tools and explore this to help them learn what they will need later in life.

I need four sets of liquid measurement kits which include cups, spoons, quart, liter, pint, and gallon jars. The students need these kits to give them hands on experience with liquid measurement. They will measure different amounts of liquids in a group setting. This hands on experience will help them to learn what they will need to know as an adult.

By purchasing these measurement kits, you will enable my students to measure liquids for themselves. Since we learn by doing, this would allow them a great opportunity to learn something they can use the rest of their lives.
