My Students

I teach AP Students that I aim to prepare for the AP Biology exam by the end of the year so they can receive college credit.

Students are our school are motivated and hard workers!

They love science and are eager to see how their textbook can come to life through labs and outdoor activities. They are innovative and can come up with scientific investigations on their own when prompted!

My Project

My students would use the new microscopes to view cells of various types to aid in their understanding of biology. Students will be given prepared slides as well as create their own slides to view cells and cell processes. Students will be using microscopes at least twice each month.

Being able to actually view cells and cell processes in the microscope will make a huge difference in my students understanding of biology!

Students would greatly benefit from having new microscopes with an oil immersion lens that would allow them to magnify 1000x!
