My Students
Students in my class are always asked to think outside of the box and take chances; question everything and take nothing for granted. Edison said it best, "Many of life's failures are people who did not realize how close they were to success when they gave up."
My students are self motivated and always looking for a challenge.
They are very interested in science and technology and are always questioning the world around them. The school that I am currently in helps to foster this love of leaning, but it is often difficult to obtain certain supplies. With additional help we can create an environment that facilitates STEM education.
My Project
My students are extremely interested in robotics and engineering. They are currently working with Lego robotics, but want to move further and learn more complex robotics. The Arduino starter kit and Parallax robot will allow them to learn computer programming skills, as well as more specific skills like soldering and wiring.

Unfortunately, STEM education has been neglected for too long and we are now on the cusp of revitalizing science education. Having access to these materials will help foster STEM education and create the next great American inventors.
