Bringing Technology Into the Classroom

My students need 3 Nexus 7 from Google. In our classroom we are able to use many of Google's apps to support instruction and learning!

My Students

The world is rapidly changing around us and so are the students in my classroom. No longer do students sit in rows and do independent work, instead they are actively collaborating and integrating technology into their learning!

My students are hard working and goal oriented students.

For a second grade student to showcase their work and talents in ways that engage them is huge! As a BYOD school it is difficult for parents to send expensive devices with their second grade child to school. If my classroom is able to provide the students an outlet to use such devices that will enable the parents to trust their child to use them.

My Project

My students will use the Nexus 7 from Google daily. There are many apps to practice reading and math skills. There are also many apps to help students create their own projects to complete assignments. Having 3 Nexus 7 from Google in the classroom will help my students to think and perform outside the box when completing their work.

These donations will be HUGE to my classroom.

Students can take pride and ownership of their learning by using the devices. Students will be provided an outlet different than pencil and paper to complete their work and take their learning to the next level and preparing them for the future!
