My project needs owl pellets to develop skills needed for studying food webs and Ecology.

We are an urban school in need. Our school is 5-8 grade, with a high school level science class offered to some students. One of the major topics now taught in an 8th grade science class is Ecology, more specifically looking at food webs and food chains. If students are exposed to the real thing, (i.e. owl pellets), they will develop a better understanding for the topic. They will also develop their inquiry skills. Using the owl pellets with the high school level class will allow a better understanding for the skills needed to be successful on the NYS regents exam as well. I have had the privilege of using owl pellets and feel it to be a great benefit in the learning of my students.
