My Students

Do you remember your favorite video game? Can you imagine if school was like an arcade and learning was like playing a game. We were all attracted to the bright lights and sounds of technology.

My students are from an inner-city with over 90% of them receiving reduced lunches.

They are like most other kids today. They are inundated with vivid colors and fast moving graphics and loud music. Daily, they face many challenges other than education.

My Project

I'm asking you for some state-of-the-art technology to add to my classroom. Specifically, Texas Instruments graphing calculators. These calculators have high resolution color screens. They also have applications and peripherals that better engage students and help capture their imagination. This in turn helps them connect the "numbers" on the screen with real life situations in an exciting and challenging way.

Today's workplace is packed with technology.

Our students need to feel comfortable using and utilizing technology to it's fullest. Please help me bring this technology and excitement to the classroom. Imagine, we can make school like an arcade! We can make learning like playing a video game. Kids would stand in line to learn. Technology and teaching working together. Thank you! Please donate!
