My project needs this deluxe classroom money kit which includes coins and bills for hands on practice.

Money Matters! And it does matter to my 21 first graders who are all just becoming aware of the value of and the uses of money! My school is located in a great area of South Carolina and the children have many fantastic opportunities all around them. They witness money transactions on a daily basis and need to start becoming aware of the importance of it all!

In our classroom we currently have one set of "money" for the children to manipulate. It is not enough for a group of children to use at one time. We need to spend and save. Children must have these early experiences with earning, buying, and saving money to be successful in the future.

We are in need of this money set for all the children to be able to experience earning, buying, and saving money for our classroom store. This will benefit them greatly as they learn about currency in our country and how exactly it all works.

These children are our future. And we need to be sure that they have a strong foundation in economics...it can and should begin now! Thank you in advance for supporting the leaders of our future.
