This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
Math Madness! What fun we will have learning through music and hands on activities. The supplies that I have asked for will help me to reinforce our math skills. The students will be using math sliders that will help them review their adding and subtraction skills. The math posters and CD will be a fun time to learn math through song. I have learned that if you can put the lesson to music children will learn better because they love to sing!
The other activity that I am asking for is a super fun math game that the students can play in pairs or with the whole class. They will be reviewing basic math. My students love to learn. They get so excited when I am able to show them something new. I love teaching math and it they love learning!
I teach second grade in a Title I school. Our school is made up of 61% free and reduced lunches. My classroom has 15 of the 18 students that qualify for free and reduce lunches. These students may come from low income families, but they are full of spirit to learn.
Thank you to Donors Choose and you for making our wish come true! May God bless you!
