I have a variety of kids from diverse economic and cultural backgrounds. Our population is made up of students from rural, urban, and suburban areas. We are the second largest elementary school in our district. My school is one of many in our county that has been blessed to serve free breakfast and lunch to our entire student population. We have many students who are hungry and these meals maybe their only full healthy meal of the day. This diverse setup has taught my students to get along well with a variety of people as they work side by side to gain a valuable education.
