My classroom services anywhere from 10-20 struggling middle school students. These diverse learners know what failure feels like and at the tender age of 11-14 years many feel hopeless. In my classroom, we promote individual goal setting and celebrate all accomplishments no matter how small. Our classroom motto is a journey of 1000 miles begins with one step. We focus on turning those baby steps into leap and bounds. We also focus on life and organization skills that will follow these students way past the school room. I love my students and the way they challenge me to be a better person and teacher every day. My main goal is to help mold these students into young adults that have a love of learning and are self motivated.
