My students are so full of potential! They are a combination of GATE and advanced learners, English learners, low-socioeconomic groups, and special needs students. They are all full of a love and eagerness for learning and have a desire to succeed. They come from different walks of life and have to learn to respect each other. Our school is already full of extra-curricular opportunities in the arts after school. However, students are so hungry to use technology to research topics on the Internet and publish their learning using Google Slides and Docs. I foster confidence in each student so that each one knows that s/he is capable of learning. Asking questions is just as important as answering questions as I create a culture of inquiry through hands-on collaborative science units. As the teacher, my role becomes the facilitator and cheerleader instead of just a lecturer.
