My students are all in the 5th grade and have been identified with learning disabilities. They often spend more time and energy learning the same content as their peers. Students are able to learn age appropriate behaviors by being with same age peers all day. Students are included in regular education classrooms for at least science and social studies, with assistance from an aide or myself in order to access grade level curriculum. Some students come to my room for individualized instruction in math and language arts to best meet their needs. Others come to my room to better understand the material learned in the general education classroom.
