I teach Third Grade in the inner city of Springfield, MA. Dealing with struggles beyond their maturity level, each student comes in ready to exceed expectations. I believe "If we teach today's students as we taught yesterday's, we rob them of tomorrow" -John Dewey. In the 21st century, my students are very eager to create, record, and present projects despite their home-life issues. Kids work hard every day to learn something new and to better themselves. Despite difficulties at home, each day is a new day at school! :)

About my class
