How is the Students Reached statistic calculated?

When public school teachers post projects at DonorsChoose.org, they indicate how many students will benefit from the resources and experiences the classroom projects will deliver.

If a classroom project on a Giving Page is fully funded, the number of students the project will benefit is added to the Giving Page’s “Students Reached” total.
