In music class, the greatest experience is one where students feel like musicians making real music, and that requires real, high quality instruments. No matter how talented the students, instruments that are poorly maintained, out of tune, or damaged diminish the musical experiences we strive to create every day. The school's previous keyboard was severely damaged, and our students need a new one! With a working digital piano in our room, I will be able to accompany students as they sing or play instruments, let students explore the ways in which instruments work together, and work with students to create polished performance pieces for our many school concerts. Please help us welcome this fantastic instrument into our classroom to keep the music alive and beautiful!
