A set of graphing calculators for the classroom as well as teacher resources for instruction would greatly benefit students’ ability to explore higher level concepts in greater depth. Many High schools, Community colleges, and universities all use these calculators to teach advanced mathematics skills and allow the students to expand their knowledge in more efficient ways. Let’s give our kids the opportunity to do the same! I’ve requested 10 calculators that will be for classroom use as well as an overhead projector screen (as I already have the projector) that will allow students to follow along with me during instruction. If this is funded I will try to do a second round for an additional 10 calculators.
