My students are highly motivated problem solvers who are looking to further their knowledge of design, computer assisted design, manufacturing, and mechanical sub-systems such as electrical, pneumatic, and programmable logic devices through the FIRST Robotics Competition. They also create, practice and present safety and business plans to judges. This competition is a highly cooperative experience that instills students with the numerous soft skills ranging from communication and collaboration to time-management and problem solving. All of these skills help give students idea of what they will pursue for a future career. This is a sport where students from all backgrounds can achieve skills to guide them towards success in their future careers. "In this sport, 100% of the kids involved can go 'pro.'" -Dean Kamen Keep up with the team on Twitter/Instagram @team4272 or on Facebook at https://www.facebook.com/MBR4272
