L Elementary School in MN is piloting a new Spanish immersion program this year. It has never been done in this part of Minnesota. Our students need Spanish language materials to check out from the school library that cover a wide span of reading levels and subjects to spark their interest. Students are excited to visit the library every 8 days. They are ready to begin reading books en español at their level. We want to bridge the gap with Spanish language materials from antelope to zebras and stories to tickle the funny bone. We are starting with very limited resources and want to accommodate the growing demand for Spanish language books.
