I have requested flexible seating for my classroom. The environment of the classroom has changed significantly over the years. Now, many students cannot function in a typical desk and seat setting. Most now need the freedom is move and fidget in order to concentrate on independent learning tasks. Students in my classroom need flexible seating in order to function successfully in the classroom. With help, I will be able to create a classroom environment that increases the success of all students. Many of my students cannot function without moving. Flexible seating would allow those students that cannot sit still the opportunity to be successful inside the classroom. It is my goal that flexible seating will help them obtain the necessary materials in order to be success in school and hopefully foster a love of learning that will continue through college.
