My students have many different literacy centers in my class. The listening center is one of their favorite activities and way to learn. This center will allow them to increase their vocabulary and give them the chance to read many stories. It also enables them to deepen their comprehension. They learn to work together and take turns while listening to a story on CD. This new learning center will help the students organize their books and headphones. It will allow them to clean up quickly and neatly so that the next group of students can learn. It also makes it more accessible for them.
