I teach students at a Title I, elementary school where 100% of the students receive free lunch. Our school population includes ninety percent second language learners. These students come to my classroom ready to learn every day. The curriculum we provide our students needs to support and encourage their language development so they can be successful and proud of their progress. I want them to make connections so they feel responsible for their own learning and excited about their school environment. My goal is to provide engaging lessons where all students have the opportunity to contribute to discussions and activities.

About my class
