My students are active and self-sufficient learners. They take ownership for their learning by moving around the room when they need supplies or want to collaborate with peers, they find appropriate places to read independently, and they move closer when they can't see or hear me without having to ask for permission. They are curious! Questions abound daily. They also love to research and check if they can find information to answer their questions. They are children! Children who are learning to be kind and respectful. Children who are learning to be up-standers and know they can make a difference. But in order to do all this hard work and growing and learning.... they need your help getting the materials that will support them.
