I teach seventh grade at an urban middle school in central North Carolina. One of the most wonderful parts of our community is the wide diversity of learners our school serves. Our student population is comprised of a variety of cultural and ethnic backgrounds and we have a great diversity in learning styles and academic readiness. The students at my school are energetic, outgoing, and bring a joyful attitude to the learning environment. Every day I learn something new from them and it truly is a pleasure working with these adolescents.
