We are a very diverse class of 4th graders developing our love of reading through great literature and critical questioning and thinking. We are at an urban school in Oregon that is currently designated as high priority, with 86% high poverty and 48% English Language Learners. We are working so hard to meet and exceed standards and prepare for the SBAC, but more importantly we are developing our love of learning and a desire to understand and help our community and create a just world.
