Students at my school are generally lively, energetic, fun-loving, and hopeful about their future. They inspire me to be a better person and a better teacher every single day. Many are first generation Americans whose families immigrated here to give them a better future. My students are in a unique class called AVID which stands for Advancement Via Individual Determination. They are all focused on taking pre-AP courses in middle school so that they can get into the college of their dreams in the future. They are determined to succeed and to make the American Dream a reality in their lives. Thank you for visiting my page and for your support!
