I teach at a Title 1 school in California. I am all about making Mathematics fun, tangible, and memorable. Our students celebrated the Pi every year and have a blast making air-powered rockets, launching water balloons using a homemade air cannon, and many other pi-related activities. This coming year, I will be teaching a Math-Science core class to our Two-Way Immersion students. These students have the goal of becoming bilingual, bi-literate, and honoring the contributions of a multi-cultural community of learners. In addition, I am also teaching STEM electives that allows our students to become builders, inventors, and problem-solvers. Students will embrace the Engineering Process while working as a team to learn Design, Modeling, Robotics, Programming, and many more 21st century skills. Thank you for your support!
